Thrown in the Deep End: Self-Confident Teaching
【Workshop Description】
Even after many years, it is common for professors and teachers of all kinds to front their classrooms unsure. Did I explain that right? Did they get what I was saying? Did I give them enough practice? Is that example the right one? Am I doing what a teacher “is supposed to” do? This workshop will focus on practices and activities for increasing teacher self-confidence and, as a result, making more informed strategic choices about lectures sessions and course design.
